Should I do more to my hair?

I had pretty long hair (to shoulder blades) I had been having highlights (caramel and red brown) put in them for about a year and half. It was healthy elastic not over processed (hairdresser used Matrix color system). Well I moved and decided that after a year of highlights my hair was starting to shy away from my natural chocolate brown to a blonde. So I had my hair dyed my natural color. NOT. It turned out black. So I went somewhere else and had some thin blond highlights put back in %26amp; slightly thicker auburn. They were spaced highlights(which is was I wanted) I asked specifically for a toner she said she didn't use toner. She was rough when styling and caused some breakage. The blonde looks FRIED and the cut was horrible. Shorter on one side %26amp; shaped differently on both. It's been 2 and half months since I've had anything done to my hair. Figured it needed a break. Going back for Christmas to my stylist. I'm wondering if by going back to my old highlight is overkill at this point?

Should I do more to my hair?

1. FIND A NEW STYLIST-- YOURS IS A BUTCHER AND SHE DOESNT CARE HOW YOU LOOK- YOU KEEP COMING BACK NO MATTER HOW SHE MESSES YOUR HAIR UP.

2. PAY MORE FOR YOUR HAIR-- YOU MAY NEED A REVERSE COLORING AND THEN A HIGHLIGHTING- MY DAUGHTER HAD THE SAME HAPPEN TO HER AND A GUY IN PHILA SAVED HER LIFE AND HAIR.

3. BE SPECIFIC - GET A MALE COLORIST AND HAIRSTYLIST- I FIRMLY BELIEVE THEY CARE MORE ABOUT HOW YOU LOOK AND ARE MORE LOYAL TO YOU- DONT BE AFRAID OF TELLING HIM WHAT HAPPENED TO YOU AND WHAT AND HOW YOU WOULD LIKE YOUR HAIR DONE NOW- THEN ASK HIM IF IT IS POSSIBLE- AND IF HE BELIEVES HE CAN DO THE MIRACLE THAT YOU NEED TO HAPPEN.

4. IF IT COMES OUT GREAT--- PRAISE HIM, SEND HIM A THANK YOU CARD AND TIP HIM GENEROUSLY AND BOOK ONLY WITH HIM.

5. IF IT IS NOT GOOD-- ASK TO SPEAK TO THE MANAGER OF THE SALON- RIGHT THERE AND THEN- YOU HAVE TO BE PUSHY BECAUSE YOU WERE UPFRONT WITH HIM AND IF HE TOLD YOU HE COULD FIX IT, HE SHOULDNT HAVE PROMISED IF HE COULDNT. THE MANAGER WILL HAVE TO HAVE SOMEONE ELSE REDO IT AND YOU WILL MOST LIKELY BE GETTING A MAJOR DISCOUNT ON YOUR BILL- AND DONT BE AFRAID TO BE VOCAL IF YOU FEEL YOU ARE NOT GETTING ANYWHERE WITH THE MANAGER/OR STYLIST.

6. IF AT ALL POSSIBLE, PICK A CHAIN SALON- THAT WAY YOU CAN ALWAYS COMPLAIN TO THE MAIN COMPANY- THEY DONT LIKE TO HEAR THAT- THEY COULD LOSE THEIR NAME-- AND GOOD LUCK- REMEMBER= DONT SAY YOU LIKE IT UNLESS YOU REALLY, REALLY, DO!!!

You may want to find an EXCELLENT stylist in your area. Sounds like they really messed up your hair and that can be a bummer. The owners of salons usually have more experience..so you may want to pay the extra price for that. Bring in pictures too to give them an idea of the direction you want to go in. Good luck.

Should I do more to my hair?

Just cut it off and start all over
