Dying my hair again!?

i am naturally a brunnette with a light tan and big brown eyes. but i have highlighted my hair so many times that people dont know wat color my hair really is. but they say they really like wat color my hair is now. but im not satisfied with the color cuz my eyebrows r dark adn dont match my hair at all. i want my hair all one color woth some some very natural looking highlights. So should i do it? just the color that is at my roots so it will match my dark eyebrows. i would like some pictures pleez!

oh and, im goinmg into 8th grade so i was going to get it done the week before school starts.

Dying my hair again!?

Seriously if you want to know what i think,Don't Dye your hair or highlight it. If you highlighted your hair so many times well sorrry to say but you hair is going to be ruined when you get older. It's the truth. I say just keep your natural beauty! It doesn't matter how you look.

Dying my hair again!?

Could U add a add a detail of ur self?

Dying my hair again!?

I highly recommend http://www.bosshairstyles.com

Really be careful about dying your hair too much too! It gets fried after so much dying, and fluffy looking.

Use hot oil treatments (available at Walmart) for after, and try not washing your hair everyday! Just every other day. But, if you must wash it, then try just washing the roots and avoiding the tips.

Dying my hair again!?

Your only in 8th grade and you've dyed your hair so many times?!! Wow! Leave you hair natural and don't dye anymore...or else you won't have any hair by the time your thirty!

Dying my hair again!?

8th grade, and already dyed the hair too much? that's sad. i didn't start until i was in college. you need to stop dying and processing your hair, or you'll ruin it. let your hair breathe!

Dying my hair again!?

actually i don't like highlight hair cause i thing natural is better, and i didn't see any photo from u so i can't give any suggestion,i thing better u send some photo

I tried dying my dark brown hair (level 1-2) to a desired rich medium brown.?

I have a friend who is a beginner stylist that I decided to trust but what a mistake. I have dark brown hair (Asian) and I wanted it a rich medium to dark brown. My friend chose a level 5 and level 6 color and mixed it. I previously have red highlights which were growing out. She used 40 developer and the ends were darker and my highlights were covered but it was not the desired color I wanted. My roots (virgin hair) where new growth was turned out a somewhat lighter brown but in the sunlight it appears red.orange which I do not like. I told my friend and she said she would dye it again (roots only) but without any developer but of course my color would be darker. Is this the correct method to correct the roots? Will this new color without the developer last long?

I knew I should have went to a real prefessional - I have learned my lesson :)

Another question - how soon can I highlight my hair which would require some bleaching before the toner?

Thank you for helping!

I tried dying my dark brown hair (level 1-2) to a desired rich medium brown.?

It's really good that you let your friend experiment with your hair.

Anyways, because your hair is so naturally dark, it's extremely hard to lighten to a level 6. You can only lift up to 4 levels (MAXIMUM) when your hair is purely virgin. So that would only get you to a level 5, if you're lucky. She should have used lightener on your hair because its colour treated and then toned it to the desired colour. Tell your friend to find out what level the ends of your hair is. (say it's a level 5) So mix a 5N (neutral/natural - because they have a slightly ashy undertone to neutralize the red-orange) with 10 Volume developer ( or 3%, however you guys say it over there) and apply it to the roots. Hopefully this will work. It's really hard to help without being there and seeing how it looks, but this is what I'm going to suggest based on what I'm picturing in my head.

Also, I'd wait a few days before putting highlights in. Just because you've had to colour it twice already. Then with the bleach and toner.. that might be too much.

I tried dying my dark brown hair (level 1-2) to a desired rich medium brown.?

At least you learned your lesson.

I tried dying my dark brown hair (level 1-2) to a desired rich medium brown.?

It's hard to tell the colors without actually seeing it... I wouldn't just redo the new growth because it will probably not turn out the same color as the rest of it.. and I have never heard of not using developer? Level 10 just processes so I don't see why she wouldn't just use that? If I was you I would just go dark all over again back to your natural and give your hair a break for a little bit.. and then in a few months if you want to try to go light again go to your regular girl a level 1 or 2 should be dark enough to just cover up everything so that's what I would do for now just to get by for a month or 2.. Hope this helps and ps at least your didn't fall off!!

break's over or hello hydration

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

the best shampoos and conditioners are aussie, pantene, and garnier fructis. These all work better when using the same type of them for shampoo and conditioner. i reccomend aussie as the best though.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

Pantene. I use the shampoo and the conditioner separately not the combined one. It works great.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

Redken Allsoft shampoo and conditioner. I had bad chemically dried hair and allsoft really fixed it.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

I use Sunslilk. and there are so many types of sunsilk so match up the one that is closer to your haie\r problem.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

Pureology!!! It is the absolute best shampoo/conditioner product you can buy.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

Pantene by far is the best!

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

main %26amp; tail is for horses, but MAN!, that **** is good

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

First of all to keep your hair healthy you need to get a hair cut just little at the ends every month. Preferably in the time of new moon and not on Saturday Trust Me I am into astrology and I believe it's all connected. And Pantine ProV is the best choose specially the tube in Clairol color box it's especially designed for slip ends and keeps hair Strong . Thermosilk is also great!

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

the best thing to do is get the split ends cut off. but you need a shampoo and conditioner for split ends, and or dry damaged hair. it is made espacially for your type of hair. Sunsilk is excellant and Pantene . Treseme .

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

I believe Tres Semme works wonders! And it smells great too! Also, you could try trimming your hair every two months to keep it healthy!

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

I use Creme of Nature detangling shampoo. Then I use Pro Therapy right after I wash my hair leave it in for 5 minutes and then wash it out. Then once I am out of the shower. I use oil hair moisturizer and then I style it and spray silk smooth oil sheen spray and then wet your hair a little while it is in the style comb over it and you are good to go.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

NEW VIVE IS THE BEST!

TRUST ME!閳?br>What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

Go into the hair-care section of the store. You want to look at the products that are anywhere from $8.99 --$24.99. (Humectress, Redken, Biolage, Pantene, Garnier fructis...You just have to read and choose what's best for your hair type and texture. Is it curly/straight, oily/dry, natural/relaxed/colored...?)

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

No pantene pro v..I see people on here recommend it like crazy and its really not good for your hair. It has alcohol..which is bad for dry hair...One shampoo that I noticed worked great on my hair is Joico Kpak. It works really well with chemicall damaged hair. Try to deep condition it with a leave in conditioner at least once a week if your hair is really damaged. Make sure to get your hair trimmed to get the damage off because nothing mends split ends. Also get a good leave in conditioner and serum, like Redken Anti snap which is good for damaged broken hair or Sebastian potion # 9. Good serum to use is Paul Mitchells super skinny.

Hair coloring question?

I highlighted my hair today with fearless highlights by clairol. They are extremely to blonde. Can I recolor my hair with out getting a dingy color or a green color. I'd like to use something for all over.My natural color is an Ash type blonde.

Hair coloring question?

yes you can but i would not try it at home i would try to go somewhere

think about it you have already messed ur hair up once would you wanna do it agian???

Hair coloring question?

If you go with a darker color it shouldn't do that.

Hair coloring question?

Go see a reputable colourist. A lot of companies use green as the base for 'ash'. Don't do it at home!

Hair coloring question?

Well it would be a little difficult trying to achieveing your ash blonde at home, so I would try going to a salon.

Hair coloring question?

i dont know

Hair coloring question?

the color of hair u want and then if u want highlights then put them in ur hair also its going to be ur hair that ur going to be on ur head.

Hair coloring question?

I've been coloring my hair since I was about 14 and I've never experienced a greenish tinge after dying. Try recoloring your hair with a darker blonde, like a honey or wheat color and it will wipe out all the highlights. I suggest next time you highlight to either get it done professionally or go for a highlighter kit that doesn't produce such stark results. You can also put the dye on for the minimal amount of time and then redye them to get the desired lightness. Remember, if you're blonde already and you dye with a platinum type dye, then you'll get that color. If you leave highlight dye in too long, then they'll get lighter the more you leave them in.

Hair coloring question?

being that your hair is ash blonde and depending on how much of your hair is highlighted , you need to go to a professional because if you use a all over color your hair will grab the new color and the ends of your hair will look like a dirty grey

Hair coloring question?

It will only turn a green color if you dye your hair brown. I am also naturally ash blond and have dyed my hair every color. I would suggest using Feria by L'oreal color. However, the highlights will stick but it will look more natural. Sometimes if you highlight and then dye your hair blond, the lightest blond will look gray/green/or pink after you rinse....but don't worry it fades the next time you shampoo.

Hair coloring question?

best thing to do is go to your hairdresser and they can help you fix it so you don't make a larger mess and cause real damage.

Hair coloring question?

No, don't recoler it, you'll mess it up. What you need to do is wash it so it can strip out the coler

and see how that works.

Should i have to pay to get my hair redone?

i went to my hairdresser that i have been going to for quite some time now. i have redish brown hair dyed of course. so i told her that i wanted blonde highlights. i have been a blonde before well usally i am. so i told her that gradually i would like to go back to blonde. she said with the highlights my hair will be equally the same meaning the colors. not more blonde and not more brown just =. which we both agreed apon. so i did the full head and she but in alot of foils. i didn't get my hair blowed dryed because i was just going home and i like to do it myself. so it is hard to tell in those lights but right away i could tell that i wanted way more blonde. then when i got in the car i relized OMG it looks like i got barley any. so i called from the car and she said "well if i mad them chunky it would of been striky looking. but she never told be that before doing it because i did want that. that is not equally. hello!!! when i got home my husband was like did you go get your hair?

Should i have to pay to get my hair redone?

You shouldn't have to pay. She should have given you a more thourough consultation. Then you would have know what to expect. The rule at my salon is that if it was the stylist mistake free redo but if the client just didnt like it but turn out as expected and explained then no free redo. Leet her know you want it fixed and for free

I would do 1 in 1 out fine slices whole head

Should i have to pay to get my hair redone?

No you should not have to pay for something that you aren't happy with. If she values you as a customer she will not even ask! I would however get it done asap so that you dont have growth or it looks like you are taking advantage of her. Good luck!

Should i have to pay to get my hair redone?

no!!!!!!!!!!! shes stupid say fix my hair cuz u cant even see my highlights and go to a new hair stylists

Should i have to pay to get my hair redone?

No u shouldn't have 2 repay. if she didnt do it the way u wanted it in the 1st place and u paid for it than that doesnt count

Should I get caramel highlights?... helppp?

I bought a kit to highlight my hair.. its hi-light styliste (Hi-control brush on highlights) by loreal paris in creamy caramel..

I want a change to my hair, but I'm scared it will not look good..

I have some pictures below, so please tell me your honest opinion =)

(and someone told me it wouldn't turn out the color it says/shows.. does anybody know anything about that?)

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y67/sth...

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y67/sth...

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y67/sth...

and if you don't think the caramel highlights would look good, then what would you recommend?.. I'm open to pretty much anything (besides like pink, purple etc)

Should I get caramel highlights?... helppp?

maybe a lighter brown, away from the blonde-ish colors, it'd look more natural!

Should I get caramel highlights?... helppp?

i'd have to agree Report It

Should I get caramel highlights?... helppp?

i think they'd look nice on you

Should I get caramel highlights?... helppp?

I think your hair would look very pretty with caramel highlights.

Should I get caramel highlights?... helppp?

i think on the bottom layer you should die it black...no lighter then your natural

Should I get caramel highlights?... helppp?

I did it and now it is hard to go back my natural color . I waited to long to try to go back and every time i go back to my true color i hate i feel like it is too dark. don't do it try a hint of red highlights first if you like it, then try the caramel mix it up you will be shocked That is what i did and i love my hair its alot like yours maybe not as long yours looks about 3 inches longer oh have it trimed when you do it or the ends will look fried!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Should I get caramel highlights?... helppp?

I think it would look nice on you because your already pretty. but I wouldn't trust the home kits and especially by loreal.. I have tried basically all home kits.. and you got to be an expert to get good results.. because risks are going orange.. coloring parts of your hair.. and once I did a highlight kit and had horrible uneven roots.. I would think the color is great.. but I am not sure for a home kit because you don't want to ruin your hair

Need a new hair look?

My hair right now is a brownish maple color it's way past the shoulders and I have side bangs.

I've colored %26amp; highlighted my hair before. It took me some time to get it back to normal but it's fine now. I just feel like I need to add something to it that can brighten up my face. So I'm thinking highlights maybe a bright auburn or blonde highlights. I have no idea. I dont want to do anything untill I'm absolutely sure. I'm sure I need a little change though

Need a new hair look?

you need a pic so we can judge your face shape...that and your skin tone. those two are the most important things when judging hair color.

Need a new hair look?

My hair is the same colour. You could cut your hair, just brushing your shoulders or slightly shorter, and get some blonde highlights. You can wear it in pigtails, ponytails, plaits, or with a headband and they all look really cute. You could keep the sidebangs or grow them out. Otherwise keep your hair the same length, get your bangs cut straight across, and straighten or curl it for a more sexy look. You could also get a Victoria Beckham bob, or choppy layers and blonde highlights for a cool look. I hope that helped :)

Brassy and yellow hair?

i have heard all the crappy answers about shampoos. dude they dont work. i went to a salon and got highlights. my hair was once died brown. then i put carmel highlights and i went in for a touchup and then he messed up at the salon and when i went back to him my hair ended up horrible. i have carmel and dark brown. orange and red orange and highlighter yellow colors in my hair. what do i do. i am afraid if i tone it the other colors might get weird?

Brassy and yellow hair?

try a shapoo caed shimmering lights, uts great

Dyeing my hair!??

My hair is chesnut brown and my eyes are hazel and i want to dye my hair blonde for summer but it might be too light on me so I was thinking of highlights,.. What do you think? Do you have any pictures of dark haired girls with highlights/coloured hair?

thanks for your help!

Dyeing my hair!??

that's me

the purple has faded to brown

sorry for the crappy pic

http://i126.photobucket.com/albums/p113/...

Dyeing my hair!??

Well I think it would look good. You should put light chestnut in your hair. Then it would look more natural and healthy. Make sure you are completely certain you want your hair that color because I have seen some highlights gone bad. And a few days after you highlight it make sure you put some conditioner on and let it sit for 5-10 minutes. Hope this helps !!!

Dyeing my hair!??

hiya i have naturally blonde hair but my friend had dark brown and she dyed it slowly, shade by shade blonder, dont bleach it.. or it will just go yeallow! Loreal is a really good hair dye to use as you can get it with highlights in a box or without. giving that natural look! :]

I'm Indian and my hair is dark brown......?

so dark brown it almost looks black. However, in the sun you can tell it's brown. It's got a nice shimmer but I have been dying to add some purple plum highlights to my hair. I have shoulder lenght hair and I was thinking something along the lines of Cristina Aguilera when she had those red highlights underneath hair blonde hair. Of course, I ain't no Xtina but does anyone think it will look ok? Please help! I would appreciate any advice especially if your in the hair salon industry.

I'm Indian and my hair is dark brown......?

Why not go to a hair salon for a consultation, they are generally free and you will come out with knowledge on how best to go and the procedures it would take to get you exactly what you want along with the cost.

You can do comparative shopping by going to different salons, taking their care and indicating the cost behind and then go home and make a decision based on what you heard, cost and what you feel is best for you.

The fact is anyone here could tell you what they feel will look good however the reality is you have to live with it. So your opinion is what really matters.

I'm Indian and my hair is dark brown......?

don't try and copy anyone else. Be innovative and do whatever comes to YOUR mind but do get inspiration from elsewhere. However, when christina had those red highlights she did look pretty amazing so I'd say go for it.

I'm Indian and my hair is dark brown......?

I went to baeuty college and got voted hair color queen so I no what looks nice. IF you do that to ur hair u should make all of ur hair jetblack exept the plum high lights, that would look good. If u just leave the brown in there its going to conflict and look funcky.

I'm Indian and my hair is dark brown......?

you probably look prettier with your natural color. but if you want a change, i'd suggest some caramel hight lights. the red would be too drastic.

Getting Professional highlights done?

In the beginning of November I highlighted my hair using Loreal. It didnt really show and sort of damaged my hair. Would it be safe to go to a hairdresser and get highlights done. Will I suffer less damage?

Getting Professional highlights done?

yea the pros will tell u how to moisturize your hair to help it not to look damaged plus the can protect the hair by applying the highlightener with mixed conditioned products so your already damaged hair wont be as damaged when they get through u also need to moisturize and condition your hair at home after u visit the salon the stylist will suggest what to do! if she doesnt then shes not in the right profession cause thats what i did for my customers when i was a hairdresser. Good Luck!!

Getting Professional highlights done?

yes get it proffesinonally done.......it really doesnt damage ur hair as much as doing it yourself with store products.

Getting Professional highlights done?

yes....they'll fix it. and it will look good! :-)

Should i keep mi hair or change it back to brown?

ok so last night i highlighted mi hair by mi self...well mi mom helped me to lol but enyways my normal hair color is dark brown and i did have some blonde highlights but the roots were grown out like half a inch so last night mi hair turned out pretty good but i dont really look good as a blonde lol and theres so MUCH blonde hair that now mi hair is mostley blonde but the color is some platnum blonde honey blonde kinda caramel rusty blonde and then mi brown hair and some red from the sun and dyeing mi hair b4.....soooo what do you think should i keep the blonde in or should i jus go buy some dark brown hair dye???! i have till 2moro to decide because i go back to school on tuesday!! plz help????!

Should i keep mi hair or change it back to brown?

it would help if you could post a picture, so we have some ideas.

dying your hair too often can damage it, but if you're really uncomfortable in blonde, you better stick with dark brown, copper brown, capuccino brown.

then afterward pamper your hair with hair mask or hair vitamin regulary to avoid hair damage.

good luck :)

Should i keep mi hair or change it back to brown?

Go back to brown.

Should i keep mi hair or change it back to brown?

Don't dye your hair again for another two weeks!

Should i keep mi hair or change it back to brown?

go back but post a pic maybe if we could see it but dont dye it for a while or you can damage your hair

Should i keep mi hair or change it back to brown?

My opinion go back to your original color hair.

Should i keep mi hair or change it back to brown?

Did you try dark/ almost reddish brown?

Should i keep mi hair or change it back to brown?

Don't dye your hair too soon, it can become quite damaged with all the processing. If you don't like the blonde anymore try using a non permanent color over it for several weeks before redying it. The non permanent colors aren't as harsh as the permanent ones.

Bleaching hair twice within a week.?

I bleached my hair Sunday (the 11th) and I plan on bleaching it again on Friday. The reason why I'm doing this is because I colored my hair after bleaching it and it became an orange color. I want to bleach it again and use a toner this time. Will bleaching it again kill my hair?

This is what I plan on doing:

1. Bleach hair to get to pale yellow stage

2. Apply toner

3. Bleach to color of choice

4. Add highlights

My hair is surprisingly healthy even though I bleached it yesterday. I don't really notice any difference from before %26amp; after bleaching ( I didn't use conditioner either). So, should I go for it?

Bleaching hair twice within a week.?

NO!!!

Never bleach your hair twice in a week. You've already destroyed it, you'll make it worse. Your hair need time . It would be best to wait at least a month. Usually, the orange color will have faded by then.

Bleaching hair twice within a week.?

Don't do anything!

You should go to a salon and get it done professionally. It will cost you more, but they'll do it correctly.

Plus, always condition your hair when you get it processed. Processed hair becomes more porous and brittle. Conditioner helps to mitigate the damage.

Bleaching hair twice within a week.?

I think it might be okay to bleach your hair again but use a conditioner. After bleaching twice your hair is gonna be quite dry!

Bleaching hair twice within a week.?

Nooooooo deffinately DO NOT

i know from experience my hair got so thin and it started falling out and now im waiting for my hair to get long again it took it a year to get completely heathy again

bleaching the hair is the worst thing you can do to it

And im not just telling you this Just because

but because i went through it and it sucks when your hair falls out and gets really weak it takes a while to get it heathy again

Whats a good conditioner for damaged hair?

I used to have my naturally dark brown hair heavily highlighted. I got tired of the maintainance and dyed it over with a permanent dark brown dye. My hair overall looks good when its styled but you can see the major damage when i let it go naturally curly! it is so frizzy!

Can anyone suggest a good deep conditioner for overly processed hair? or an at home reipe?

Whats a good conditioner for damaged hair?

A good home conditioner for overly dry hair: a cup of olive oil warmed up, smoothed into your hair, wrap a hot towel around and leave until cool. Shampoo this out thoroughly and rinse with very cold water to smooth the hair.

Whats a good conditioner for damaged hair?

Anything from Biolage is wonderful

Whats a good conditioner for damaged hair?

hot oil

Whats a good conditioner for damaged hair?

I use Infusion 23. You can spray it on and leave it. It is great for all the tangles on the Harley.

Whats a good conditioner for damaged hair?

i use garnier fructis its really effectiveeeeeee

Whats a good conditioner for damaged hair?

i highly recommend any products from matrix or joico...i use a whole hair reconstruction set by joico that has done wonders for my hair. i also would suggest hot oil treaments...and only wahs your hair every other day. cut down on the heat styling too...it destroys your hair. good luck :)

Whats a good conditioner for damaged hair?

for the frizz id use john friedas line for frzzy hair and for the damage id ask a hair stylist but i like biolage for my hair

Whats a good conditioner for damaged hair?

Kerastase works wonders! I have dry curly hair and have tried tons of products. Kerastase is the only product that really conditioned my hair. It has completely changed my hair for the better. Definately worth the money. They have several different kinds for all types of hair so you should be able to find one for you!

Whats a good conditioner for damaged hair?

I'd recommend Aussie conditioner, it's really good and about 鎷?. There's one for luscious long hair - in need of a good treat, and one for coloured hair which also helps the hair. It works great for me and left my hair feeling silky. They also do shampoo but that isn't as good, and they do leave-in conditioner for it to work longer which is really good.

Whats a good conditioner for damaged hair?

Redken's all soft or,repair is really good

Dry Hair...?

I have dark brown hair with golden blonde highlights. I straighten my hair a lot and I know I shouldn't do it that often, but my hair is unmanageable when I don't. Due to the straightning and highlights, my hair gets really dry, escpecially where the highlights are and it makes the color look really bright. Do any of you know any products that may help with this problem? Thanks!

Dry Hair...?

Use a moisturizing shampoo condtioner and leave in creme. I reccomened Neutrogena Triple Moisture, shampoo conditioner and deep recovery hair mask

If you dye your hair alot, leave your hair alone and wait to dye it atleast 3 years later or so. Hair dye has terrible chemicals that kill dry/damage your hair.

Brush your hair before shampooing and conditioner so your hair won't be tangeled.

Don't wash your hair everyday try 3 times a week

Avoid combing hair while wet, use a wide tooth comb.

Deep condition twice a week

Trim your hair tips every 4-6 weeks.

While shampooing massage your scalp with your fingertips slowly, it's not necessary to shampoo the ends, then rinse with warm water.

When using a conditioner leave on for about 1-3 minutes so you can get great results then comb hair with wide tooth comb then rinse with very cold water to have shiny hair

If you use gel/hairspray/moose stop using them. They damage and dry up your hair.

If you use heat appliaces (blowdryers, curling irons, hair straightener) use a heat protecter spray so it'll protect your hair from heat.

If your in the sun alot buy a cap or a hoodie to protect your hair from the sun, heat damages and drys out your hair.

Buy a leave-in-conditioner/leave-in conditioner/creme to moisturize your hair all day long and don't rinse.

After your out of the shower set your blowdryer on cool setting and blowdryer your hair for 2 minutes, this will help seal the hair cuticles for a smooth shiny surface.

If you dye your hair do it atleast once a year, hair dye has terrible chemicals that kill your hair.

When your hair is completely healthy start using a shampoo and conditioner to keep your hair color longer and healthier, I reccomend John Frieda.

Dry Hair...?

CHI products %26amp; straightner protect har... I like Redken butter

Dry Hair...?

i use biosilk it makes your hair smoother, helps frizz, and makes your hair shinier i would suggest straitening your hair at least 4 times a week its summer! give your hair a vacation too!

Dry Hair...?

ok, i have the same combo, and i used to constantly straighten it, put every product in the world in it, and enything else you can do. the best way to make your hair nurished, is get a shampoo and conditioner that moisterizes. after shampooing, apply conditioner. but, instead of rinsing it after a minuet of letting it sit, leave it in your hair for a few hours. then rinse it out. do this each time you wash your hair. it really works and after a week or two your hair shouldnt be dry!!! by the way, tresseme is a good product. they have color treated shampoos and conditioners too. so, good luck!! :)

Dry Hair...?

protect your hair from the heat styling products by using a silicon based hair serum. i use got2b, and it makes your hair less frizzy, more straight, and shinier. you put it on when your hair is wet. the bottle has a pink cap top thing

Dry Hair...?

Your solution= CONDITIONER, CONDITIONER, CONDITIONER!!!! Kerastase has some really good deep conditioners and styling products. I suggest that you check out their website listed below. Good luck on your quest!

Dry Hair...?

I straighten my hair every day, to help with damage and stress to my hair I use the following at home mask.

Eggs-traordinary Hair Mask

Ingredients:

2-Raw Eggs

1-Tablespoon Olive Oil

Approx. 4 Drops of Honey

Whisk all of the ingredients together like your about to make scrambled eggs or something. Drench your hair in the mixture. I mean, like, SOAK it, but don閳ユ獩 make it drippy. It will feel really weird. Leave it in until the mixture dries on your hair (could be an hour and a half or so). Shampoo a bunch until you are SURE you got all of it out. Wash hair however you normally do and style like normal. Hair will be softer and shinier than before. Repeat once every other week for optimum results.

Natural Homemade Tips for Hair %26amp; Skin

http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-gnA4Lmo_b...

Dry Hair...?

Dont go out and buy anything expensive.

First: Purchase a mild Shampoo (To Clarify hair, I will explain why)

Second: TRIM your hair ends (May 1 1/2 to 2 inches)

Third: Here's the magic part: Mix olive oil, almond oil, coconut oil, avocado oil and a "little" honey, (honey u will have to heat so it can blend). Either leave on ALL day or all night (if all nite, DONT use honey)

Repeat this 3-4 times a week, your hair will grow like a weed %26amp; remove all frizz I promise,..... and it will be super shiny!!!!

The clairifying shampoo will help take the oil off your hair when u shower

You can find olive oil anywere, but the other oils you will have to buy at a local organics store, wholes foods or BJ's health corner.

How do you create beautiful Blond highlights at home and maintaining them?

I want to streak/highlight my hair for summer. I do not want to go to a salon, however I want the best results I can possibly get. My hair is light brown. I want all over highlights and I want to frame my face with Platinum streaks maybe 5 or so and the rest medium blond.

1. What is the best product to use?

2. What tools and methods do I need to do to get the results that i need?

3. How do I maintain it?

How do you create beautiful Blond highlights at home and maintaining them?

Hey Layla-

I've done at home highlighting and frosting quite a few times, and I definitley know what works best.

The absolute best thing you can do to get platinum highlights is to go to Sallys (if there is one around- the closest one to here is like 30 miles away!) Sallys carries both at home highlighting kits AND the cream and powder for highlights that they put in a highlighting kit box, but for half the price!!

It costs me about 4 dollars and 30 cents for the bottle of cream developer and the packet of powder you need. If you want a highlighting cap they are about a buck so all together its about 5 bucks, and you can use the bottle like...4 times and the powder 3 times- it's way cheaper then a highlighting kit that costs around 10$ and it works seriously like....3 times better.

You have to get 40 VOLUME cream developer and 40 VOLUME powder. The developer is in a small bottle that's a little bigger then a travel size shampoo bottle, and the powder packages should be right next to it. There are all sorts of brands, but they all work the same.

If thats what you decide to do (because it saves money and the results are way better then a boxed highlighting kit)- when you get home- use a cup or a bowl and dump in half the powder package- and 1/4th of the developer- if it's too runny and not pasty (not super thick) like it's SUPPOSED TO BE- then add a little more powder.

Mix it very well- but before making the mixture put on your highlighting cap first. If you want brighter- or more noticeable streaks in the front framing your face then you need to pull a little more hair out of the hole and use a little extra cream on that part of your hair (you will also need a hair pulling pick that costs about 35 cents at Sallys- sorry I forgot to mention that!)

When you are all done- cover your highlights in plastic on top of your head and let it sit for about 45 minutes- you could rinse your highlights in the back and all over, and leave the front ones in for an hour if you want them brighter. It's easier DONE then said- but I explained it as well as I could.

If this sounds too confusing then your best bet would be to go to Walmart, or Rite-Aid- Kmart- and just buy an at home highlighting kit for about 10$ and up- it comes with everything you need- look out for "dramatic results" on the box, because that will give you the best look- and leave it in for an hour for best results, no longer, or you may get break offs, which totally suck and weaken your hair super bad!!!!!!

In order to maintain your highlights- use a vitamin enriched shampoo like Pantene or Dove (the 2 best) for COLOR TREATED HAIR- or there is a shampoo line by John Freida that you can use called Brilliant Blonde. The shampoo doesn't smell good, but it has blonde enhancing chemicals in it to maintain the color. For touch-ups just re-highlight from the root with the left over powder and developer.

-Any thing you don't understand or want to ask me about you can email me at weegyweeg333@yahoo.com or IM me on AOL messenger- Imfreakingsweet.

Hope this helps!!

How do you create beautiful Blond highlights at home and maintaining them?

I don't know if this would help with the platinum and the blonde but I know there is a really good at home highlight kit where you put the dye in a small green comb and comb it through your hair in streaks. My friend has used it and it comes out looking very professional. I can't remember what the brand is but it shows the comb on the front of the box.

How do you create beautiful Blond highlights at home and maintaining them?

when my hair was a fake red color, I had some blonde highlights put in as well but i didnt like them so i decided to buy black box dye and put black streaks in there instead. What i did was a took a fine comb, with a long skinny handle, and took one section of hair that was a combination of where i usually part my hair. weave the handle of the comb in and out the section to create little strips and slowly let go so the loose pieces fall and you are holding 4-5 little strips of hair that you will be dying. My hairdresser taught me how to do this and IT WORKED! its a hell of a lot more successful than just grabbing a strip of hair randomly on your head.

I'm thinking of getting highlights...but i'm not sure what color to get.?

Im thinking of getting highlights.

My hair is darkbrown like this-

I'm not sure if it's a good choice, Help?

I'm thinking of getting highlights...but i'm not sure what color to get.?

that will look good. its a good idea to start little by little. Just dont make perfect stripes. have someone weave it in so it looks more natural

take a look at the pic, obviously it wil be a darker version, but this is what i mean when i suggest not making ur highlites too stripey or perfect....good luck!

I'm thinking of getting highlights...but i'm not sure what color to get.?

blonde

I'm thinking of getting highlights...but i'm not sure what color to get.?

i think you should get cinamin/ copper its a great red that turns out awsum in dark hair!!! good luck with ya hair.

the colour looks like the lady in the following website!!

I'm thinking of getting highlights...but i'm not sure what color to get.?

Hm... if you like that edgy look, get blonde, auburn, or a blue-ish black.

If you want it more natural, chocolate brown/light brown/medium brown would look for sure gorgeous on you =D

Good luck with that!

I'm thinking of getting highlights...but i'm not sure what color to get.?

well, if you really want to pop, than I'd say blond, otherwise, I'd go for some light/sandy brown, or copper highlights

I'm thinking of getting highlights...but i'm not sure what color to get.?

You have gorgeous brown hair! You should totally get blonde highlights to compliment your hair. it'll stand out and you;ll look so good with it.

Hair cut help!??!??!?!?AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...

do you have a pic?

you don't have to have your face in it, just a pic of a lock of hair

Hair cut help!??!??!?!?AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...

redish strawberry blonde

Hair cut help!??!??!?!?AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...

uhh like a blonde, but not streaky, that just looks cheap. or like a dark red. once again make sure it isnt streaky

Hair cut help!??!??!?!?AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...

If I were you I would do blonde highlights, but many girls look good with highlights about 2 shades lighter, and lowlights also 2 shades lighter than their natural colour, you could add some darker brown or red as your lowlights, it will still look natural yet stunning, but please go to your hairdresser for a first attempt at colour change of any kind.

Hair cut help!??!??!?!?AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...

You should wait to highlight your hair. You can damage it.

Hair cut help!??!??!?!?AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...

maybe dark brown

Hair cut help!??!??!?!?AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...

1st off have a professional do the work, some lighter blonds and light reds would look nice. have your hair trimmed before you do it. try and have a photo to take into the salon with you. try hairfinder.com there are plenty of styles there good luck!!

Hair cut help!??!??!?!?AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...

Light blond highlights would like nice...girly, and it will look somewhat natural. If your hair is too light for more blond, then maybe do a darker brown highlight. Heck, you could do both! I think that whichever one you choose, it will look cute. Have fun!

Hair cut help!??!??!?!?AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...

ok.....i have naturally brown hair 2! I think that u should go a natural color or just ask your hairstylist what u should do!

Hair cut help!??!??!?!?AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH...

Also, depending on how your hair is cut, make sure that if you wear it in a pony tail a lot or back or braided or something that whoever highlights it knows that and can put highlights in to accentuate that.

Bleached hair and a perm?

my hair is highlighted with blonde and i want to get it permed will it be ok?

Bleached hair and a perm?

DONT DO IT!!! I also highlight my hair and I decided that I wanted to get a perm. My hair looked good right after I did it, remained healthy and all. A couple months after most of the curl went away I was left with a mop. Every time I took a shower and combed my hair I lost clumps...and I still do to this day (I got the perm October of 2005). Make sure its what you really want first, and of course talk to your beauty advisor.

Bleached hair and a perm?

Ask your stylist. It depends on what condition your hair is in.

Bleached hair and a perm?

You can do it but it's going to fry your hair all to pieces.

When I was 16 my hair was heavily highlighted and I had a spiral perm done. The inexperienced stylist burnt my hair to a crisp, pretty much started breaking off in chunks within a few weeks. I went from butt length hair to shoulder length pretty quickly.

Bleached hair and a perm?

yeah it should be okay, if you got highlights/dyed your hair over a week ago, it should be fine. :]

Bleached hair and a perm?

Matrix makes a beautiful perm for highlighted or bleached hair Of course you'd have to visit a salon with trained professionals

Bleached hair and a perm?

it depends on how heavily hilighted it is and what kind of condition your hair is in. There are perms for bleached hair but you still need to be super careful, and I think there would still be some level of damage. I wouldn't suggest it if you are pretty blonde-trust me, this comes from a person who has had to shave their head because I permed my platinum blonde hair....and I'm a stylist!!

Bleached hair and a perm?

yes!

everybody is like dont do it but it wont hurt u! to keep it conditioned, use a deep condition weekly, and a leave in conditioner dailey.i recommend bed head!!! I use it and i luv it! also if u want to perm it i reccomend an japanias straight one, they rock!! hope i help~!

Dying my hair black.?

I have blond hair and I just highlighted my hair a week ago. I have a costume party coming up and I want to Dye my hair black but only temporary. Is there a kind of dye that washes out after a couple days? WHat brand do you suggest. Also will my highlights be permantly affected by the black dye or will they mess it up?

Dying my hair black.?

you cannot do it, it will destroy your hair. Basically the lighter your hair is the less pigment (color) you have. Bleached hair (highlights are bleach) have no color in the shaft. If you put black in...a dark color (LOTS of pigment) like that, it will fill the shaft. Temporary or not, it will NOT all come out and you will be left with some strange in between color. Get a wig!

Dying my hair black.?

ok

Dying my hair black.?

u can buy that spray in one but i tryed it and it damaged my hair also u can try like urple kool aid or something and mix it with conditionar

masage it into ur hair and rinse out gentley

Dying my hair black.?

maybe you should by a wig because when you die your hair black temperaryly then when you wash it a few times your hair looks grey and it fades like helll

Dying my hair black.?

Okay, if you use the ones that washes off when you take a shower, that would be thee best. i don't recommend any hair dye, because i don't die my hair.

My hair gets lighter in the summertime.

Dying my hair black.?

it can turn your hair red

Dying my hair black.?

1st it will affect your hightlight for a long will and there is something to dye your hair with and it will last two weeks. its from loreal company but im not that sure what it is called.

i really recommend it and have fun at the party

Dying my hair black.?

dying your hair black with any type of dye could leave it stained darker, and sometimes a completely different color depending on the base color of the dye (red base, your hair is stained red) even the temporary sprays are risky because your hair is blond, you are running a risk.

If i were in your position, I wouldn't risk the money I spent on those hilites, your safest bet would be to get a wig and wig cap.

Dying my hair black.?

loreal color pulse mousse works really well, I have light blonde hair and the dark brown I used washed out in 4 shampoos! Becareful to follow the box's directions exactly for good results

Dying my hair black.?

just wear a wig then you don't damage your hair but dieing it!!

Dying my hair black.?

how about you get they spray on dye it washes off You can buy it at party city

jackie good luck

Dying my hair black.?

Yeah, I would get a wig, because any type of rinse/temp color will mess up your highlights and usually take a couple of washes to come out. And the temp sprays are nasty, if your hair touches anything, it will turn that color.

Dying my hair black.?

yes there is temporary hair dye that washes out in the shower. but it will damage your hair if you got it dyed in less than a year.

Dying my hair black.?

i don't no but u probably what get at out of your hair

Dying my hair black.?

okay, my mom is a hairdresser and i have had my hair ups and downs. you'd be better off spraying it on because if it's only temporary than the temporary hair dye stays for weeks. especially with blonde hair. if you dye it, it will never be the original color. your hair will probably go back more orange than blonde, and if you don't want that, then you just have to dye it back blonde but don't forget to tint it. if you don't it'll be orange. and wait for a while between these because dying your hair too much causes it to ruin or look rotten. you'll know what i mean.highlights are pretty temporary anyways so you can always get them again. um, i don't know what brand i use but i get it from sally's beauty supply and it's always in a bluey/black box.

Dying my hair black.?

use VIA or manic panic, special effects,or black and beautiful

and yea if its peroxide or amonia highlights the semi permanent will stick so its best to use conditioner and olive oil before so the hair isnt so porous and the semi permanent wont stay so much

so remember if hair is bleached or highlighted it is more porous and the semi-permanent will act permanent so mosturize!!!!!!!!!!

Dying my hair black.?

why waste your money on highlights when you want to dye your hair black? just wear a wig but if you want to look your best go to CVS and ask someone there for a temporary hair dye

Dying my hair black.?

loreal

Dying my hair black.?

I think you may mess it up..you could try Pulse..

Dying my hair black.?

i think that you should ask a hair stylist what you should do. that way you would know the right answer to your problem.

Dying my hair black.?

if you use a temp or semi perment and the highlightsts might hold the color use Loreal color zap

http://colorzap.50megs.com

it removes any color in your hair that won't come out

Hair color mess up?

My moms friend has highlighted my hair 3 times now, and yesterday she did it, but it looks different. I have drk brn hair with blonde and red highlights. I mainly want blonde with a tad of red, but the red is kinda bright. I like it but this time it turned out really red and kinda takes over the blonde. It is way bright. She said she will tone it own. What does that mean. How can I get it to look blonde again with less red?

Hair color mess up?

She may have mentioned/have in mind adding an ashy-colored "toner". Basically it's kind of a sheer (but permanent)layer of color to counteract the undesirable color. This sounds really scary, but stick with me: you know those little old ladies who have kinda blue-ish looking hair? That's because they used too much toner (trying to keep their white/grey hair from yellowing).

You want a happy medium somewhere between Marge-Simpson-Blue and Bart-Simpson-Yellow. Believe me, I've been both of those colors and every UNhappy color in between! :-D

Dark hair goes through many "brassy" shades of red %26amp; orange %26amp; gold before it bleaches out to "blonde". This is true of all darker hair, but especially problematic if you naturally tend to have golden tones to your hair. "Toning" the highlights won't make them any lighter really, just less red and more natural looking (hopefully).

Another option if your hair is in VERY GOOD CONDITION ONLY is to re-highlight the highlights. In other words, bleach out more color. It took me forever to understand this but a colorist that fixed my home hair color disasters a few times told me "You can't remove color with color". Meaning, I had removed SOME color from my hair (the normal brownish color), the color underneath the brown was reddish brown, the color under that was red, then orange, then bright yellow, then yellow, then blonde, then platinum blonde, then white.

So that's a really long explination to tell you that if your hair looks too "brassy", you have two options: 1. "tone" the hair by adding the opposite color (purpleish blue) to cancel out the reddish-orange colors, or 2. remove more color from the hair (bleach it some more). Option 2 is always more damaging than Option 1.

GOOD LUCK!

Hair color mess up?

The red in your hair will fade. Red color always fades. The red molecule in the color is bigger then the other colors and so it's harder for the hair to take, which means that it will fade quickly. So if the red is too red, wash it a few times and it will not be so bright.

Hair question?

my girlfriend highlighted my hair with a cap and the highlights turned out really uneven. She used a loreal kit. I have medium blonde hair and now have light blonde streaks. How can i fix them? Are they permanent?

Hair question?

The best way would be if you went to a professional. It may be pricey, but at least it would turn out right. :o)

Hair question?

sounds like someone is a homosexual ;-)

Hair question?

You can get either get another kit and try to do them more evenly, so you'll cover up the highlights you have now or...your second choice would be to just dye your hair back a shade or two darker than your natural color. The reason I say go a shade or two darker is that hair color always fades...especially the color over the highlights because bleached hair fades really fast! This way, even if you dye it darker, your hair is going to fade out to pretty much your natural color in a few weeks time.

Hair question?

I am a hairdresser and my suggestion would be to either cut it short or go to a professional and have them bring it back to your natural coloe. All it would involve is putting a toner on it as close to your natural color as possible....it would be relatively inexpensive.....good luck

Hair question?

ok I would recomend getting another color, maybe one that is 1 or 2 shades lighter than your natural color~ nothing drastic~ and putting that on your hair, it will be lighter, but it will cover your streaks. you will still have that sun kissed look. and don't have to worry about a "color correction" in a salon.

Just make sure that you buy enough color to cover your whole head really well. and check the box, make sure it shows your natural color on the box and it should show you what it will look like if you apply the color. the results.

Make sure you buy a good conditioner, and use it, because your hair is already damaged, and coloring it again will do more damage. unless your hair is in really awfull shape, you will be fine, people color and re-color all the time, just pamper your hair for a while after, and avoid doing anymore colors and that for a while. any more ??? feel free to ask =)

Hair question?

I did this to my hair to. Pick a hair dye color that's close to what your natural hair color is. Use the permanent one since that comes out in about 3 months. Since you used loreal highlights you must get the same brand of hair dye. My aunt is a hairdresser and she told me this. After you dye your hair wait at least 24 hrs before highlighting it again. If you decide not to take chances in re-highlighting it, you can just leave it the way it is. By the time the dye fades out, the highlights will be gone. The highlights should dissapear in a month anyway. You won't be able to tell it was dyed if you pick a dye close to your natural hair color.

Any hair stylist or ppl who know hair well ??

I have natural light brown/dirty blonde hair and I am wanting to have my hair red with blonde highlights. My hair is fine and very porist (sp?) so I know it will hold well (even though red washes out easily), but Im wondering how hard it will be to keep my hair this way? I mean when my roots come out how to dye them red and then put blonde in the spots to match... the hair I want you can see it Google: Not Another Teen Movie + Priscilla, then go to images. It should be the 6th picture (last on the right). Thank you!

Any hair stylist or ppl who know hair well ??

I am a licensed cosmetologist for 20 year and I would never suggest you use any chemical at home. Print you photo out and take it to a professional salon.

I Dyed over my Highlights but it dont work?

I dyed over my orange highlights with black dye. But in 3 days the highlights came back...I highlighted my hair in like Febuary now its August and still have it!. Help?

I Dyed over my Highlights but it dont work?

Usually if highlites is involved bleaching is involved...which means u cannot color over it unless a filler is used! I suggest this book it tells about coloring and fillers and levels and alla that jazz! ;) http://www.amazon.com/Miladys-Standard-C...

I Dyed over my Highlights but it dont work?

Girl...go to a pro before you damage something over there...

I think the dark hair looks better. Maybe you should try some reddish highlights, that would be cute.

NONE, no one cares...

I like your hair with the highlights but it could just be that it is a nicer photo of you.

Both are very good, but I have to vote for blond-ish

I always love it when Asians die their hair blonde...I think it looks really cool.

But on YOU, I like it dark without highlights...but you are beautiful either way.

The blondish hair one

Which hair looks better on me ? pictures.?

I think your dark hair looks nice.

Which hair looks better on me ? pictures.?

I think you would look like a million in honey high lites done with foil only. And you are needing a new do! You have a cute heart face, I'd see some one that charges a lot of money for a cut, like an independent stylist. Something to bring out your small face. the all dark hair makes your face look old and tired, and the reddish done at home color looks harsh, cheap. But if you go with something a professional picks out you would look like a movie star...good luck

blonde-ish! n without the faces lolz

your just a attention whore. Oh and #3.

With your skin tone, I would go with a lighter hair color. I can't say blonde exactly, but a lighter brown with some auburn highlights would accentuate your skin tone instead of washing it out or making it look too dark.

Is it okay to dye my hair now?

Okay so, naturally I have brown hair with light brown highlights. Recently (on the 19th, actually) I had my hair bleached. The guy then put some toner in or something. Now my roots are starting to show, and I am going to go to Target to pick up some dye. First off, any specific dye that's great for root touch-up? Second, I was thinking of putting some of the dye into my actual hair. The tips turned out darker than I wished for some reason. Would it look okay since the dye isn't so drastic? I mean, my hair is blonde, I just want it a bit lighter? All I'm worried is is my hair turning yellow or orange! So what is a good root touch-up dye, and should I highlight my hair myself?

Is it okay to dye my hair now?

you want it lighter im guessing?.... im gonna say just highlite it your self use frost and glow! dont just try to dye the whole thing it will turn orangeish. you dont need root touch up not yet!

Is it okay to dye my hair now?

I'm sorry, but if the guy used bleach, you don't want to color your hair yourself. Bleach gets your hair much lighter than regular hair color can, and it is very drying to your hair. So if you put color on the bleach, it can cause it to break off. You need to wait until you have about a 1/2 inch of growout, then have the roots touched up by a professional again.

How much do you tip your hair dresser?

I want to go and get my hair cut %26amp; highlighted but how much would you tip after all of that??

How much do you tip your hair dresser?

$10-$20 depending who much you like your hair

How much do you tip your hair dresser?

As a Salon owner that is not a cosmetologist, I say you should tip 15% min. if you liked the cut, and want to come back. 20% if it was awesome. If you tip well you get treated better on future visits, and will have an easier time getting in on a day when the schedule is getting full. Report It

How much do you tip your hair dresser?

It depends on how much you like your hair when you are done.

How much do you tip your hair dresser?

if she/he did a bad job pay him/her with 25 cents to one dollar if he/she did a nice job but not a spectacular job give her/him a 2 to 5 dollar if they did a spectacular job give them a 20

How much do you tip your hair dresser?

Usually, I tip 15% of the cost. I once went to a lady who abused, burned and tortured my head. I think I gave her a fiver and left it at that when she finished.

How much do you tip your hair dresser?

Normally you tip about 15 - 20% depending how well they did your hair and how they treated you. Usually you don't tip the owner of the salon if they did your hair.

How much do you tip your hair dresser?

15 to 20% of the total bill, is sufficient.

What do you do if you have brown hair and want it to be blonde... but ur eyebrows are also brown?

if i dye my hair blonde i won't be able to do anything about my eyebrows which are brown... i've seen ppl who dye their eyebrows... and that's just plain goddamn stupid... they say that for blondes ur eyebrow color should be the darkest shade in ur hair... do you think if i get my hair heavilly highlighted that it would still look okay/good?

What do you do if you have brown hair and want it to be blonde... but ur eyebrows are also brown?

highlights, or a dark/dirty blonde should work

What do you do if you have brown hair and want it to be blonde... but ur eyebrows are also brown?

Get it done professionally

What do you do if you have brown hair and want it to be blonde... but ur eyebrows are also brown?

bleach all of it

What do you do if you have brown hair and want it to be blonde... but ur eyebrows are also brown?

my ex had brown hair

(really vcute) but he dyed the tips kinda blonde... if u just do like highlites or tips blonde ur eye brows should be ok but if u want to go totally blonde i suggest dying the eyebrows to match or it will look really bad

What do you do if you have brown hair and want it to be blonde... but ur eyebrows are also brown?

it'll be fine with the highlights.

What do you do if you have brown hair and want it to be blonde... but ur eyebrows are also brown?

well if your are a natural burnette and you are doing a dramatic change from a dark hue to a light one. there is definately going to be a contrast in the colors. Its not going to look natural and its only going to compliment each other if the colors are toned out correctly. I suggest working iwth a highly experienced colorist.

What do you do if you have brown hair and want it to be blonde... but ur eyebrows are also brown?

You have a few options... First you can highlight portions, Second you can color everything plus your eyebrows, Third you can shave off your eyebrows and color them in ( I don't recommend it) or else there is always the last thing you can do... Leave it natural.... Sorry but I can't really tell you the best choice. Do what you want...Good luck!

What do you do if you have brown hair and want it to be blonde... but ur eyebrows are also brown?

It depends how brown your eyebrows are. If they aren't too dark brown, it's okay to leave them alone. I've seen blonds with light brown eyebrows before and it doesn't look too bad. Blond eyebrows look bad to be honest. If your eyebrows are dark brown then you might have to dye them a lighter brown or a dark blond. There's nothing wrong with dying your eyebrows, people do it all the time. Get them done professionally if you think you can't get them to look natural.

What do you do if you have brown hair and want it to be blonde... but ur eyebrows are also brown?

I like when people have eyebrows that are a different color than their hair. My natural hair color is super dark blonde, and I bleach it. My eyebrows are kind of light blonde/light brown. Their a mix between the two.. Yeah. Well, dye your hair or highlight it. Whatever you think will look best.

What do you do if you have brown hair and want it to be blonde... but ur eyebrows are also brown?

well this is funny cause my hair is natrual blonde and my eyebrows are natrul dark brown your hair is goin to change over time darker so just leave it !!!!!

Natural-looking highlights?

So I'm going to the beach for Spring Break and I want to use the sun to highlight my hair. I have light brown hair and want blonde or reddish highlights. What are some natural ways that I can get my hair to have highlights? (I've heard you can use lemon juice or chamomile tea, but how do you use them?)

Please give detailed answers!!! Thanks. =]

Natural-looking highlights?

Just spray the lemon juice on the bits of hair that you want to lighten. But be careful, because lemon juice can burn your scalp because it is so acidic.

You can buy a product called Sun In; it's a lightening spray that you put through your hair before going into the sun, and it lightens your hair. It's not natural like lemon juice, but a lot better on your hair and scalp. I recommend trying the Sun In, especially as you can buy it in several different shades for your specific hair colour.

Natural-looking highlights?

Hi Honey,

Chamomile tea liquor with henna powder. Extremely natural and looks gorgeous.

Good luck!

Natural-looking highlights?

Be careful using lemon juice because it can make your hair turn grey. You could also spray salt water into your hair. Other than that there's really nothing that you can do.

Good, long lasting hair dye?

Can anyone recommend a good hair dye that will cover my few greys for more then 3 weeks? Also, something that might lighten my overall hair color (which is dark brown now) to a lighter brown with some highlights. My hair is long so i don't want to use the pull through highlighting cap and the brush on...well lets just say I never do it right!! I don't want to spend a fortune on having it colored and highlighted in a salon. What should I do? Has anyone used the Loreal Experte line that is on the stores? What was your experience like?

Good, long lasting hair dye?

There is a product called root-touchup and it is fantastic ive heard! its by clairol by the way! And sometimes a silver lining is pretty on blondes.

O by the way please answer this question:

Calling all hair dressers ! hair dressers only if possible...?

i just highlighted my hair, with those home kits. it came out good, but i have blonde hair and the highlights werent blonde enough to show up in my hair. i want to do it again with the same kit and leave it in longer, but my mom said something about how if you put in two products just a few days later it could cause my hair to fall out. is that true?

Calling all hair dressers ! hair dressers only if possible...?

your hair will break off and also be very dry, especially since you are using lightener.

I would wait a couple of weeks and condition your hair really well everytime you wash it. you might even want to consider a leave in conditioner.

Calling all hair dressers ! hair dressers only if possible...?

it won't make your hair fall out per say, but it can make your hair horribly week and thin.

Calling all hair dressers ! hair dressers only if possible...?

yes it can damage you hair permatly dont do it my friend has horble hair from dyeing

Calling all hair dressers ! hair dressers only if possible...?

its definitely not good for your hair. you should wait 2 weeks.

Calling all hair dressers ! hair dressers only if possible...?

it wont fall out but might get really dry and snap off in places... leave it a while, it might lighten up just from washing it

Calling all hair dressers ! hair dressers only if possible...?

the product that comes in the home highlighting kits isn't color, it's bleach. bleach can be very damaging if it's overused, applied incorrectly, or left on too long. depending on how long you leave the product will determine how light the highlightes get. if you can barely see your highlights, chances are you didn't leave it on long enough. the problem with reapplying, however, is now that your hair has already been processed with bleach, bleaching AGAIN could cause more harm than good, but not necessarily. i never suggest at home color kits, especially if you dont have any knowledge about what exactly it is that you're doing. you could try it again, but keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't get too light, and every couple of minutes, try pulling on a piece that has bleach on it to make sure it's not getting damaged. if you can feel it breaking off as you pull, its definetly time to wash it out!!!!

Home-made highlights?

Naturally my hair is dark blonde. When I was younger my mom highlighted my hair with a hydrogen peroxide mixture, but I dont remember what was in it. It might have just been mixed with water to dilute it Im not sure. ANYWAYS, my hair is dyed a medium brown right now, and im wondering if anyone knows how to do at home highlights? Yes I know that peroxide is bad for your hair. My mom is also a cosmetologist. I dont wanna do my whole head. just a few strands here and there. Any tips? And PLEASE dont say beer, lemon juice, lightening shampoo, or sun-in. Because they dont work for me, and all sun-in is is just peroxide in a spray bottle that says Sun-in. Thanks in advance! Jerr

Home-made highlights?

perioxide and kool-aid

Home-made highlights?

i dont know the home remidi ask your mom and tell her to give you one of her caps to do it let your mom do it if she is a cosmetologist.

Home-made highlights?

Umm i think it would be cheaper to just buy your own highlight dye

$6.99 cant get cheaper than that

xD

Home-made highlights?

put lemon juice in your hair

Home-made highlights?

Plain hydrogen peroxide won't work. You have to get some powdered hair bleach and mix it with hydrogen peroxide devopler...usually 40%.

Home-made highlights?

Lemon juice could work.

Can you get Japanese Hair Straightening done if..?

you have chemically treated hair? My hair is highlighted, I have heard you must have virgin hair otherwise you're hair will become incredibly damaged if you get it done. Anyone the truths to this process?

Can you get Japanese Hair Straightening done if..?

NO!!!! Even if a stylist tells you it can be done!! I am certified w/ Bio Ionic Hair Straightening. Do not, under any circumstances do any type of chermical straightening on highlighted hair. Your hair will break off, it will become like a spongy brillow pad and no amount of conditioning will help you. I'm serious, don't even think about it!!!

Can you get Japanese Hair Straightening done if..?

Awesome!! It's better to go to a salon and have it blown out. This lasts for about a week. I've seen so many girls who have done this, and regretted it because of an inexperienced stylist. Love your curly hair!!! Good luck and thank you for taking my advice! Report It

Can you get Japanese Hair Straightening done if..?

i don't know what japanese hair straightening is, but my friend has dyed hair and staightens her hair on a daily bases, so....

Can you get Japanese Hair Straightening done if..?

When was the last time you had it colored?

I, personally, would wait at least two months to do the Japanese Straightening system. It's a really intense treatment.

You've got to be REALLY careful. Call the salon that you're thinking about getting it done at and talk to them about it. Consultations are free.

Good luck!!!!!
