ok... so i want to highlight my hair for the FIRST time.... i am 13... my hair is naturally light brown/ dark blonde.

what color highlights should i get

uhh like a blonde, but not streaky, that just looks cheap. or like a dark red. once again make sure it isnt streaky

If I were you I would do blonde highlights, but many girls look good with highlights about 2 shades lighter, and lowlights also 2 shades lighter than their natural colour, you could add some darker brown or red as your lowlights, it will still look natural yet stunning, but please go to your hairdresser for a first attempt at colour change of any kind.

1st off have a professional do the work, some lighter blonds and light reds would look nice. have your hair trimmed before you do it. try and have a photo to take into the salon with you. try hairfinder.com there are plenty of styles there good luck!!

Light blond highlights would like nice...girly, and it will look somewhat natural. If your hair is too light for more blond, then maybe do a darker brown highlight. Heck, you could do both! I think that whichever one you choose, it will look cute. Have fun!

ok.....i have naturally brown hair 2! I think that u should go a natural color or just ask your hairstylist what u should do!

Also, depending on how your hair is cut, make sure that if you wear it in a pony tail a lot or back or braided or something that whoever highlights it knows that and can put highlights in to accentuate that.
