L'oreal has a product that you just brush the "high lights" in and it works awesome!!!

first you should buy hair coloring at walmart or something, then just follow the directions on the box, and before you know it, you'll look FABULOUS!!!

Get a friend to help! I've highlighted so many of my friends' hair from boxes and it always looks great. I really like the Feria and Herbal Essences highlight kits, but be sure to read the directions and make sure that that kit will work for your hair type. Then just section off the sections you want highlighted, and depending on how thick they are you can either leave them on your hair (thinner highlighted sections) or fold them in foil (thicker) and then just follow the directions and it'll look great!

Don't do it--always get highlights done professionally. It is too easy to ruin your hair.

use the all over colour from loreal called feria hi light brown in brownstone .... u can get it online from walmart..

or use loreal brush in hairlights .. or loreal color expert.. which provides both a bottle of base colour to use first and a bottle of brush on highlights to use after the base colour

from someone who has had many years of expericene with all the dyes out there i would wait it out and go to a perfessional. trust me when u do it at home its never done right like they can do it and its just more of a hassle so just go to a perfessional and tell them u want burgndey and honey highlights..but ill tell u this the hight light kit i used was with a cap and im pretty sure its made by clarol..but make sure u get the blonde one for dark hair and u can judge what color of blonde u want while going thro the coloring process.
