ok i have brownish hair with highlight (natural) and the bottoms get all puffy and it i ssholder length and its all the ugly kind of wavy and it looks terrible and products to help make it absolute strait some times even a strentiner wont make it strait!! ok please help!

Try using a ceramic straightener. They tend to work better. My hair is the same way, and instead of trying to fight it to get straight, I prefer to just curl it. I use a large barrel curling iron and start at the top of a group of hair and pull the iron down th the bottom, this straitens it, and then I curl it, because it's a big barrel it just curls the ends under. It looks a lot better that way. Or, while your hair is still damp, work gel through it and then scrunch your hair.

Try getting your hair trimmed. It sounds like the ends may be dead or no longer healthy.

Try using curlers turned under and get the ends tidied up also at the hairdressers

go to a salon and hae it chemically straightened, alternatively you could use a big brush blow dry the hair then use the straighteners, i have dried afro hair almost straight just using a brush so i am sure you can do it on fluffy hair, the fact that it is sitting on your shoulders is not good grow it a little longer so that it is not on the shoulders and the weight will also help to pull it straight

I have curly hair as well. I know what you mean if it dry or hurts a lot when you comb threw you. Go down hair salon get trim and cut the end off by 1/2 inch just dead part of your hair keep your hair long. Don't for layer they suck in my opinion it requires a long time using the straighter after you straighted it out then you have make flaps.

I suggest buying a flat iron that get really hot like Conair one warms up 360 it silver with black all around cost about 45 at wal-mart. Website says 65.
