Dying my hair again!?

i am naturally a brunnette with a light tan and big brown eyes. but i have highlighted my hair so many times that people dont know wat color my hair really is. but they say they really like wat color my hair is now. but im not satisfied with the color cuz my eyebrows r dark adn dont match my hair at all. i want my hair all one color woth some some very natural looking highlights. So should i do it? just the color that is at my roots so it will match my dark eyebrows. i would like some pictures pleez!

oh and, im goinmg into 8th grade so i was going to get it done the week before school starts.

Dying my hair again!?

Seriously if you want to know what i think,Don't Dye your hair or highlight it. If you highlighted your hair so many times well sorrry to say but you hair is going to be ruined when you get older. It's the truth. I say just keep your natural beauty! It doesn't matter how you look.

Dying my hair again!?

Could U add a add a detail of ur self?

Dying my hair again!?

I highly recommend http://www.bosshairstyles.com

Really be careful about dying your hair too much too! It gets fried after so much dying, and fluffy looking.

Use hot oil treatments (available at Walmart) for after, and try not washing your hair everyday! Just every other day. But, if you must wash it, then try just washing the roots and avoiding the tips.

Dying my hair again!?

Your only in 8th grade and you've dyed your hair so many times?!! Wow! Leave you hair natural and don't dye anymore...or else you won't have any hair by the time your thirty!

Dying my hair again!?

8th grade, and already dyed the hair too much? that's sad. i didn't start until i was in college. you need to stop dying and processing your hair, or you'll ruin it. let your hair breathe!

Dying my hair again!?

actually i don't like highlight hair cause i thing natural is better, and i didn't see any photo from u so i can't give any suggestion,i thing better u send some photo

I tried dying my dark brown hair (level 1-2) to a desired rich medium brown.?

I have a friend who is a beginner stylist that I decided to trust but what a mistake. I have dark brown hair (Asian) and I wanted it a rich medium to dark brown. My friend chose a level 5 and level 6 color and mixed it. I previously have red highlights which were growing out. She used 40 developer and the ends were darker and my highlights were covered but it was not the desired color I wanted. My roots (virgin hair) where new growth was turned out a somewhat lighter brown but in the sunlight it appears red.orange which I do not like. I told my friend and she said she would dye it again (roots only) but without any developer but of course my color would be darker. Is this the correct method to correct the roots? Will this new color without the developer last long?

I knew I should have went to a real prefessional - I have learned my lesson :)

Another question - how soon can I highlight my hair which would require some bleaching before the toner?

Thank you for helping!

I tried dying my dark brown hair (level 1-2) to a desired rich medium brown.?

It's really good that you let your friend experiment with your hair.

Anyways, because your hair is so naturally dark, it's extremely hard to lighten to a level 6. You can only lift up to 4 levels (MAXIMUM) when your hair is purely virgin. So that would only get you to a level 5, if you're lucky. She should have used lightener on your hair because its colour treated and then toned it to the desired colour. Tell your friend to find out what level the ends of your hair is. (say it's a level 5) So mix a 5N (neutral/natural - because they have a slightly ashy undertone to neutralize the red-orange) with 10 Volume developer ( or 3%, however you guys say it over there) and apply it to the roots. Hopefully this will work. It's really hard to help without being there and seeing how it looks, but this is what I'm going to suggest based on what I'm picturing in my head.

Also, I'd wait a few days before putting highlights in. Just because you've had to colour it twice already. Then with the bleach and toner.. that might be too much.

I tried dying my dark brown hair (level 1-2) to a desired rich medium brown.?

At least you learned your lesson.

I tried dying my dark brown hair (level 1-2) to a desired rich medium brown.?

It's hard to tell the colors without actually seeing it... I wouldn't just redo the new growth because it will probably not turn out the same color as the rest of it.. and I have never heard of not using developer? Level 10 just processes so I don't see why she wouldn't just use that? If I was you I would just go dark all over again back to your natural and give your hair a break for a little bit.. and then in a few months if you want to try to go light again go to your regular girl a level 1 or 2 should be dark enough to just cover up everything so that's what I would do for now just to get by for a month or 2.. Hope this helps and ps at least your didn't fall off!!

break's over or hello hydration

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

the best shampoos and conditioners are aussie, pantene, and garnier fructis. These all work better when using the same type of them for shampoo and conditioner. i reccomend aussie as the best though.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

Pantene. I use the shampoo and the conditioner separately not the combined one. It works great.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

Redken Allsoft shampoo and conditioner. I had bad chemically dried hair and allsoft really fixed it.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

I use Sunslilk. and there are so many types of sunsilk so match up the one that is closer to your haie\r problem.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

Pureology!!! It is the absolute best shampoo/conditioner product you can buy.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

Pantene by far is the best!

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

main %26amp; tail is for horses, but MAN!, that **** is good

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

First of all to keep your hair healthy you need to get a hair cut just little at the ends every month. Preferably in the time of new moon and not on Saturday Trust Me I am into astrology and I believe it's all connected. And Pantine ProV is the best choose specially the tube in Clairol color box it's especially designed for slip ends and keeps hair Strong . Thermosilk is also great!

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

the best thing to do is get the split ends cut off. but you need a shampoo and conditioner for split ends, and or dry damaged hair. it is made espacially for your type of hair. Sunsilk is excellant and Pantene . Treseme .

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

I believe Tres Semme works wonders! And it smells great too! Also, you could try trimming your hair every two months to keep it healthy!

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

I use Creme of Nature detangling shampoo. Then I use Pro Therapy right after I wash my hair leave it in for 5 minutes and then wash it out. Then once I am out of the shower. I use oil hair moisturizer and then I style it and spray silk smooth oil sheen spray and then wet your hair a little while it is in the style comb over it and you are good to go.

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

NEW VIVE IS THE BEST!

TRUST ME!閳?br>What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

Go into the hair-care section of the store. You want to look at the products that are anywhere from $8.99 --$24.99. (Humectress, Redken, Biolage, Pantene, Garnier fructis...You just have to read and choose what's best for your hair type and texture. Is it curly/straight, oily/dry, natural/relaxed/colored...?)

What is the best shampoo and conditioner for split ends and/or dry/damaged hair?

No pantene pro v..I see people on here recommend it like crazy and its really not good for your hair. It has alcohol..which is bad for dry hair...One shampoo that I noticed worked great on my hair is Joico Kpak. It works really well with chemicall damaged hair. Try to deep condition it with a leave in conditioner at least once a week if your hair is really damaged. Make sure to get your hair trimmed to get the damage off because nothing mends split ends. Also get a good leave in conditioner and serum, like Redken Anti snap which is good for damaged broken hair or Sebastian potion # 9. Good serum to use is Paul Mitchells super skinny.

Hair coloring question?

I highlighted my hair today with fearless highlights by clairol. They are extremely to blonde. Can I recolor my hair with out getting a dingy color or a green color. I'd like to use something for all over.My natural color is an Ash type blonde.

Hair coloring question?

yes you can but i would not try it at home i would try to go somewhere

think about it you have already messed ur hair up once would you wanna do it agian???

Hair coloring question?

If you go with a darker color it shouldn't do that.

Hair coloring question?

Go see a reputable colourist. A lot of companies use green as the base for 'ash'. Don't do it at home!

Hair coloring question?

Well it would be a little difficult trying to achieveing your ash blonde at home, so I would try going to a salon.

Hair coloring question?

i dont know

Hair coloring question?

the color of hair u want and then if u want highlights then put them in ur hair also its going to be ur hair that ur going to be on ur head.

Hair coloring question?

I've been coloring my hair since I was about 14 and I've never experienced a greenish tinge after dying. Try recoloring your hair with a darker blonde, like a honey or wheat color and it will wipe out all the highlights. I suggest next time you highlight to either get it done professionally or go for a highlighter kit that doesn't produce such stark results. You can also put the dye on for the minimal amount of time and then redye them to get the desired lightness. Remember, if you're blonde already and you dye with a platinum type dye, then you'll get that color. If you leave highlight dye in too long, then they'll get lighter the more you leave them in.

Hair coloring question?

being that your hair is ash blonde and depending on how much of your hair is highlighted , you need to go to a professional because if you use a all over color your hair will grab the new color and the ends of your hair will look like a dirty grey

Hair coloring question?

It will only turn a green color if you dye your hair brown. I am also naturally ash blond and have dyed my hair every color. I would suggest using Feria by L'oreal color. However, the highlights will stick but it will look more natural. Sometimes if you highlight and then dye your hair blond, the lightest blond will look gray/green/or pink after you rinse....but don't worry it fades the next time you shampoo.

Hair coloring question?

best thing to do is go to your hairdresser and they can help you fix it so you don't make a larger mess and cause real damage.

Hair coloring question?

No, don't recoler it, you'll mess it up. What you need to do is wash it so it can strip out the coler

and see how that works.

Should i have to pay to get my hair redone?

i went to my hairdresser that i have been going to for quite some time now. i have redish brown hair dyed of course. so i told her that i wanted blonde highlights. i have been a blonde before well usally i am. so i told her that gradually i would like to go back to blonde. she said with the highlights my hair will be equally the same meaning the colors. not more blonde and not more brown just =. which we both agreed apon. so i did the full head and she but in alot of foils. i didn't get my hair blowed dryed because i was just going home and i like to do it myself. so it is hard to tell in those lights but right away i could tell that i wanted way more blonde. then when i got in the car i relized OMG it looks like i got barley any. so i called from the car and she said "well if i mad them chunky it would of been striky looking. but she never told be that before doing it because i did want that. that is not equally. hello!!! when i got home my husband was like did you go get your hair?

Should i have to pay to get my hair redone?

You shouldn't have to pay. She should have given you a more thourough consultation. Then you would have know what to expect. The rule at my salon is that if it was the stylist mistake free redo but if the client just didnt like it but turn out as expected and explained then no free redo. Leet her know you want it fixed and for free

I would do 1 in 1 out fine slices whole head

Should i have to pay to get my hair redone?

No you should not have to pay for something that you aren't happy with. If she values you as a customer she will not even ask! I would however get it done asap so that you dont have growth or it looks like you are taking advantage of her. Good luck!

Should i have to pay to get my hair redone?

no!!!!!!!!!!! shes stupid say fix my hair cuz u cant even see my highlights and go to a new hair stylists

Should i have to pay to get my hair redone?

No u shouldn't have 2 repay. if she didnt do it the way u wanted it in the 1st place and u paid for it than that doesnt count

Should I get caramel highlights?... helppp?

I bought a kit to highlight my hair.. its hi-light styliste (Hi-control brush on highlights) by loreal paris in creamy caramel..

I want a change to my hair, but I'm scared it will not look good..

I have some pictures below, so please tell me your honest opinion =)

(and someone told me it wouldn't turn out the color it says/shows.. does anybody know anything about that?)

http://i3.photobucket.com/albums/y67/sth...

and if you don't think the caramel highlights would look good, then what would you recommend?.. I'm open to pretty much anything (besides like pink, purple etc)

Should I get caramel highlights?... helppp?

maybe a lighter brown, away from the blonde-ish colors, it'd look more natural!

Should I get caramel highlights?... helppp?

i'd have to agree Report It

Should I get caramel highlights?... helppp?

i think they'd look nice on you

Should I get caramel highlights?... helppp?

I think your hair would look very pretty with caramel highlights.

Should I get caramel highlights?... helppp?

i think on the bottom layer you should die it black...no lighter then your natural

Should I get caramel highlights?... helppp?

I did it and now it is hard to go back my natural color . I waited to long to try to go back and every time i go back to my true color i hate i feel like it is too dark. don't do it try a hint of red highlights first if you like it, then try the caramel mix it up you will be shocked That is what i did and i love my hair its alot like yours maybe not as long yours looks about 3 inches longer oh have it trimed when you do it or the ends will look fried!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Should I get caramel highlights?... helppp?

I think it would look nice on you because your already pretty. but I wouldn't trust the home kits and especially by loreal.. I have tried basically all home kits.. and you got to be an expert to get good results.. because risks are going orange.. coloring parts of your hair.. and once I did a highlight kit and had horrible uneven roots.. I would think the color is great.. but I am not sure for a home kit because you don't want to ruin your hair
