if you want silky, get a good serum. I recommend one from a beauty suppy store. for straight, buy a profesional straightner.. these are the brands i approve of: babyliss, chi, corioliss, sedu, solia, cortex, HAI, GHD.. they're $100-300 each but DEF worth it. go check out reviews at folica.com

also, for the highlights, go to a SALON (not a friend, or yourself) and ask for sun-kissed highlights.. about $60
