Help for light-platinum hair?

My hair is in a few different shades ranging from white blonde to a light blonde with a few ornage/blonde tones,i just did it today and used a toner etc, and whilst it looks ok,i'm not liking it that much, It's tolerant, but i start work on Monday,i only have a few quid to my name and need to know how to darken it abit. I bought to other dyes just in case but they are both medium blonde shade and don't think they'd make that much of a difference. i wouldn't mind going a darker blonde or highlighted hair but would like to stay in the blonde section. Any tips on how i can get this at home or if indeed, pretty cheap?

Help appreciated :)

well if you have platinum hair, and other color will make it darker, even blondes.

I hope that link works. I logged into my paul mitchell professional to get these for you. They are different techniques and there are a few blonde ones and most are very easy to do at home and are very well explained.

Buy a box of highlights for brown hair. You can add a few yourself to create lowlights to your blondeness.

Do not add any ash blonde shades to your processed hair..it will go green. I know, I have done it...LOL! Firstly, when you first bring your hair up to that lightness, it appears very drastic....it will tone down in about 4-5 days. It sounds like you already hightlighted your hair...by the way you describe the different shades of blonde...no? Best tip: get yourself a really good stay-in conditioner for your hair....one that boosts the shine...(John Frieda products are excellent for that...formulated for blondes) Once there is a good "shine" on your hair, it looks healthier and the "blondes" blend in.

Good luck to you!
