i'd think about dying your beard while you're at it - it really shows your age

The highlights might turn green - better let a professional do it to be on the safe side... Colour results are always different on bleached hair, so unless you like surprises, I would not risk it.

Home hair dyes have great results,Ive been doing mine for years.
If you have a lot of blonde in it your hair will be porous ,so go for a medium brown,if you put a dark brown on it will end up nearly black.

I'd go for it. The little bit of coloring I've done at home has been fairly easy and has worked out just fine. The worst situation, you mess up and have the professional fix it. The best senario, you do it yourself and save about 75 dollars. they even have 800 numbers on the box to help you with any questions or concerns you may have.

You should be able to dye it fine don't worry. Just be sure to follow the directions on the box very carefully. Good luck!

Hi, just as long as you are not bleaching your hair you will be fine. Now if you said your roots were coming through and you wanted to highlight it your self i would of screamed at you No!, But if you are going darker them you will be fine, but take into account if you want to go really dark the shade you will get will be lighter because you hair is blonde. So maybe go a shade darker than you want your hair to get the colour you want. But I wouldnt use a permenant use a semi as they was out and dont damage your hair half as much as permanant. I would just try a brown dye for now not to dark and not to light just incase you dont like the result you can then go over it if you want it darker.
Also if your hair is thick or long make sure you have 2 hairdyes in the same colour as some dont go very far and you dont want patches of blonde hair showing throught.
You will be fine, ive done mine loads of times dying it from blonde to brown and i end up with a good result, But its when you try and bleach your hair is when the problem start.

Hydrience hair color is very easy to use. Dark brown is a very drastic change so be sure you will be happy with it.

Make sure you do it with a colour that has a red in it or it will go green. You need to get a red pigment in, you can use a red spray on colour and wash it out before you apply the brown. If using a permanent colour go for one thats same shade as your natural hair or very close, then when roots start growing through it wont be so noticable. If you use a semi permanent colour it will fade out and your blonde will come through again in stages, this can look good as your highlights will be different colours as you wash it. Best advice is leave it alone until you can afford to go to a proffesional.

I wouldnt risk it. I can always tell which girls at school went to a salon and which ones did it themselves. I think going to a salon is worth the splurge.

it shouldnt go green in my experience u can dye blonde hair with a brown dye aslong as it isnt recently bleached u should be ok! if u are really worried about it i would go to the hair dressers if i was u. however if u dye it urself remember the highlights might still be lighter than the rest of ur hair, this is only a might depending on wot shade colour you go for!

Maybe you should try a temporary dye first - it washes out in about two weeks. I've been using Loreal Color Pulse (Funky Cherry) and it's beautiful - gives my hair a great shine. It's really easy to use - no mixing, so if there's anything left over, you can store it and use it another time. See what other women think of it:

You should be safe with a semi perminant
Do i risk dying my hair at home?
yes! it is easy to do, just make sure that you follow all instructions and cover surfaces so you don't end up with a dyed bath!
One tip is to put vaseline along your hairline, that will stopthe dye running and staying on your skin!
My hair has been all different colours over the years, amd never a disaster yet - - - good luck!
