I think they are things that highlight your hair....

If you can tell me what they are could you also tell me what color highlights I sould get? I have wavy (and puffy) dark brown hair...

You should go about 2-3 shades lighter than your natural hair color. You can get either chunky or thinner, more natural-looking highlights..for you I would suggest a darker shade of blonde or red.

Just don't get red because I have a friend who got red highlights, and they faded really quickly and turned orange.
